Traveling for an extended period can be a challenge.  Especially if your entourage includes an Irish Wolfhound.  Our living accommodation is a 5 ton 34' Airstream Excella travel trailer.  Thus, the van must serve duty as: a tow vehicle, a storage area, day to day transportation, and living quarters for an very large, growing dog for up to 6 hours per day while traveling.

To meet these diverse objectives, we chose a one ton Ford Super Club Wagon with a V-10 Triton engine and the E4OD automatic transmission.

The pages below provide my perspective of the original Ford Super Club Wagon and the modifications I made to fit our lifestyle.
