Paddy's Links

These are a few of the great sites that I enjoy visiting.  Since my bed is next to the computer, I get to spend quality time on the web.

RV Information

Airstream Central:http://www.airstreamcentral.comThis site was recently purchased by Kenny Adams, one of the highest volume Airstream salesmen in the country.  The Bulletin Board allows you to post questions which are answered by other Airstreamers or by Kenny, himself.  Kenny Adams has another Airstream site at www.airstreamrv.com.  His employer, Paul Sherry RV in Piqua, Ohio, is the closest Airstream dealer to the factory.

Airstreamhttp://www.airstream-rv.comThe official Airstream web site.  Select What's New to see the various models of Airstreams.  Airstream has updated their site to include the new 34' Limited Slide Out travel trailer.  The History section is interesting reading.  I have also included additional photos on my Airstream photos page.  Photos from our Plant Tour of Airstream are located at Fulltimer's RV Factory Tour.

Buckhorn Lake RV Resort: Located in Kerrville, Texas, Buckhorn Lake offers a quality RV Resort in the beautiful Texas Hill County.  Great service, staff, and facilities as well as lot's to see and do make this a must visit destination.

Eric's RV Performance Center:http://www.rvadvice.comEric's RV specializes in performance enhancements to recreational vehicles.  They sell and install Banks Power Pacs, ipd suspensions, Bilstein shocks, Davis Tru-Trac, PacBrake, and Gear Vendors and other items to improve the performance of heavy RV's.  They also have a Dynamometer to insure that your RV is producing the power it should (although I would not recommend it if you have the Ford V-10 as they did not have the tach hookup for it in the summer of 2000).  Tell them Michael Day sent you.

Escapees RV Club:http://www.escapees.comThe Escapees RV Club is perfect for those who use their RV's full-time.  They have parks in several states, a mail forwarding service, telephone calling cards, 800 voice mail service and many other services.  Their headquarters are 100 Rainbow Drive, Livingston, TX 77351-9300.  Their phone number is 888-757-2582.  Highly recommended.

Fulltimer's RV:   Michael has including information on our Ford van and Airstream on his web site.  He has included information on modifications he has made and additional information on his experience with the Hensley Arrow hitch.  This site includes numerous photos of our Airstream Factory Tour.

Hensley Arrow Hitch:http://www.hensleymfg.comHensley Manufacturing makes the world's best hitch for travel trailers.  This hitch eliminates sway and improves tracking through corners.  Expensive but owners swear by them.  I will provide a review shortly.  I have included a photo of Michael's Arrow Hitch in the Airstream photo page.  I have my personal evaluation of the Hensley Arrow Hitch at Fulltimer's RV.

ipd: When it comes to improving towing and handling characteristics, ipd suspension kits work wonders.  The Bilstein gas shocks, larger front and rear sway bars, and polyurethane bushings greatly improve handling.  Michael has his personal evaluation of ipd suspension kits at Fulltimer's RV.

Newell Coach: Newell Coach builds some of the finest motorcoaches in the world.  Since 1967, Newell Coach has lead the way in forward thinking design for luxury motorcoaches.

NewellOwner: Michael's other website focusing on Newell Coach and fulltime travel in an RV.  He discusses Airstreams Travel Trailers, Safari Motorhomes, and selecting and living in an RV.

Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort: Newport Dunes provides a beach resort atmosphere in beautiful Orange County California.  We highly recommend the Newport Dunes.

PhotoButtonsUSA:http://www.PhotoButtonsUSA.comPhotoButtonsUSA turns photos into wonderful buttons.  Just the thing to show off your RV.  They specialize in military, pet and RV buttons.  They made one for me and it is great.  I think you will like them too.

RV Advice:http://www.rvadvice.comPete Scalf is a certified RV mechanic and owner of RV Chassis Master in Clearmont, Florida.  Pete answers questions regarding motorhomes, travel trailer, 5th wheels, tow vehicles, RV appliances and more.  Great site.
Wally Byam Caravan Club International:http://www.wbcci.org  The WBCCI is one of the oldest and largest RV clubs in the world.  The club was started by Wally Byam, the inventor of the Airstream travel trailer, and has over 10,000 members.
